Instant Pot Mac and Cheese

This is fast, easy, and 100% the bet homemade Mac and Cheese I've ever tasted

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb dry pasta we like small shells
  • 4 cups broth or 4 cups hot water with 1 ½ tablespoon better than bullion paste
  • 3 tablespoon salted butter
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar Jack Cheese
  • 1 ½ cup heavy. cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

  1. In the Instant Pot, combine the dry pasta, broth, and butter.
  2. Place lid to lock and cook 4 minutes.
  3. Quick Steam release (I always use a wooden spoon so as to avoid a steam burn)
  4. Remove lid and stir in cheese, cream, seasonings.
  5. Enjoy!
