Chocolate Crinkle Cookies. These truly are the perfect chocolate cookie. The powdered sugar outside, the chocolate chip inside. The love just pours out of them.
3/4 cup salted butter, melted
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
12 oz mini chocolate chips
2 cups powdered sugar for coating
In the bowl of a stand mixer, mix together butter, cocoa powder, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until well combined
Add in flour, baking soda, ad baking powder. Mix well.
Fold in mini chocolate chips with a spatula.
Refrigerate dough 2+ hours.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pour 2 cups powdered sugar in to a shallow pie plate or bowl.
Scoop out dough in 2Tbsp portions and roll in to balls. Roll each ball in powdered sugar.
Bake cookies for 10 minutes, being careful to not over bake them.
