Using a medium sauce pan, heat the butter and unsweetened chocolate. Stir until melted and smooth. Set aside to cool.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 7X11 cake pan with foil and grease. you can use an 8X8 baking pan and alter the baking time
Sir sugar in to cooled chocolate mixture. Add eggs one at a time and beat with a whisk until well combined. Stir in vanilla.
In a small bowl, stir together flour and baking soda. Add this flour mixture to the chocolate mixture and stir just until combined.
Spread batter evenly in to prepared pan.
Bake for 30 minutes and done in center. Let cool
To make the frosting, whip the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth with no lumps.
Melt chocolate chips over low heat until melted and smooth. Add to cream cheese and beat with mixer.
Add in powdered sugar and mix well. Spread over cooled brownies
Store brownies in fridge.
