Instant Pot Mac and Cheese
ByThis is fast, easy, and 100% the bet homemade Mac and Cheese I've ever tasted
Equipment
- Pressure Cooker Does not have to be Instant Pot
Ingredients
- 1 lb dry pasta we like small shells
- 4 cups broth or 4 cups hot water with 1 ½ tablespoon better than bullion paste
- 3 tablespoon salted butter
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar Jack Cheese
- 1 ½ cup heavy. cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- In the Instant Pot, combine the dry pasta, broth, and butter.
- Place lid to lock and cook 4 minutes.
- Quick Steam release (I always use a wooden spoon so as to avoid a steam burn)
- Remove lid and stir in cheese, cream, seasonings.
- Enjoy!
