Instant Pot Mac and Cheese

This Mac and Cheese is so simple and so fast. If that doesn’t win you over, the fact that it is the best tasting homemade Mac ever should seal the deal!

1 lb dry pasta
4 cups broth (4 cups hot water and 1 1/2 TBSP bullion paste)
3 TBSP salted butter
Cook 4 minutes, then quick release
2 cups Cheddar Jack Cheese, 1 cup Monterey Jack Cheese
1 1/2 cup heavy cream, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Mix and mix
Serve and devour

Instant Pot Mac and Cheese

1 lb dry pasta (we like small shells)

4 cups broth or 4 cups hot water with 1 1/2 TBSP better than bullion paste

3 Tbsp salted butter

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack Cheese

2 cups shredded Cheddar Jack Cheese

1 1/2 cup heavy. cream

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder


In the Instant Pot, combine the dry pasta, broth, and butter.

Place lid to lock and cook 4 minutes.

Quick Steam release (I always use a wooden spoon so as to avoid a steam burn)

Remove lid and stir in cheese, cream, seasonings.
