Better Than Take-Out Fried Rice
On my way to 100 recipes in 100 days. Here is recipe 81: Better Than Take-Out Fried Rice.
On vacation last month, we ate at this really wonderful Japanese restaurant. They had a Teppanyaki table where they cooked right in front of us. After eating there twice and watching carefully how the chef made the fried rice, I decided to take on the task at home.

It seems to work best to have rice that was cooked the day before. I made rice and then just stuck it in the fridge to use the next day. And, I only had to use one large skillet for the whole thing. Perfect.

This rice is so so good. I get a hankering for take out fried rice frequently, so I love that now I can make it at home and have it anytime I want.

We love fried rice here too! The only difference is that I add 2 tablespoons of Hoisin sauce to the soy and sesame seed oil. I also, occasionally use brown rice to make it more healthy. I love how you show the ease of making this wonderful dish! XOXO
