Baked Meatballs
On my way to 100 recipes in 100 days. Here is recipe 15: Baked Meatballs!
We like meatballs, and I usually don’t have any on hand. So, I decided to make some and make some extras to keep in the freezer. These were fast and easy and I love that they baked up so quickly and nicely.
The flavor of these was really mild. They will be great in a dish and not over power a sauce or other ingredients
And the texture was soft and not spongy or overcooked. I served these with BBQ sauce and they were a wonderful treat.
Baked Meatballs
1 lb ground hamburger
2 eggs, beaten
½ cup milk
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup bread crumbs
1 small onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
½ teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground pepper
1. Mix all ingredients well with stand mixer or hands.
2. Form in to golf ball size meatballs. Bake on greased baking sheet at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
*Make a double batch and keep some in the freezer. Think of all the possibilities. Swedish Meatballs, Sweet and Sour Meatballs, Spaghetti and Meatballs, BBQ Meatballs, Meatball Sandwiches……I could go on.
Enjoy!!
