Green Tea Lime Cooler
On my way to 100 recipes in 100 days. Here is recipe 16: Green Tea Lime Cooler!
I love my coffee first thing in the morning and I crave something cold and fizzy in the afternoon. This combination was a refreshing drink. A really great afternoon pick me up.
Green Tea Lime Cooler
1 can ginger ale
1 lime
2 bags green tea
1 cup boiling water
1 teaspoon honey
1. Steep tea bags in boiling water for 5-10 minutes. I like strong green tea so I keep them in about 10 minutes. Stir in the honey while the water is still hot.
2. Pour tea over a glass of ice and add the juice of one lime. Top with ginger ale.
Enjoy!
*If you are like me and you really enjoy this, brew extra green tea with honey and keep it in the fridge. Then just squeeze a lime and add soda. Easy and quick.
