Party Meatballs (Freezer)

Party Meatballs
2 lbs ground beef
1 small, sweet yellow onion
2 teaspoon garlic salt
⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
½ cup bread crumbs
2 eggs, beaten
1 ½ cup bbq sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ cup grape or raspberry jelly

*In a large bowl, combine beef, onion, seasonings, bread crumbs, and eggs.  Mix well.  Shape in to 2 inch balls and place in a lightly greased baking dish. 

In a saucepan, combine remaining ingredients and heat for 5 minutes.  Do not boil.  Pour over pan of meatballs and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. 

Allow meatballs to cool and store in freezer containers.  Freeze up to 3 months.

*To Serve: reheat in slow cooker until heated through.
