Lemon Zest Buttercream Frosting
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter softened
- ½ cup lemon zest
- ¼ cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 5 cups powder sugar
- ½ tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, beat together butter and powder sugar until fluffy.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Use on your favorite cakes and cupcakes

Hi. This is a very beautiful, lush looking cake. I am in the process of making it and I have a question. The recipe asks for 1/2cup of lemon zest in the frosting. Is that correct?
